32 km, mostly flat, 90% pavement, 2 hour ride time approximatly, suitable for all bikes.

Meet at the Beaver Valley Community Centre and Arena: Alfred and
Victoria, Thornbury in time for a 10am departure.

The ride …

  • 1. South on Victoria St. left on to Duncan St. West, right on to Marsh St (13)
  • 2. Continue south on 13, pass Heathcote (note Old Mail Road on your right)
  • 3. Make a right on to 18th Sideroad, heading east. Make a left on to 10th line, heading north.
  • 4. Turn right on to 24 Sideroad, continue east to 2, were we turn left, heading north.
  • 5. We come to 40, making a right turn we head east towards 26.
  • 6. At this point we will get on the Georgian Trail and head back towards Thornbury and our starting point at the Beaver Valley Commmunity Centre.

THE RIDE LEADER WILL ADVISE ALL RIDERS AND CYCLING GROUP MEMBERS BEFORE 7:30 A.M. IF WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE SUCH THAT THE RIDE CANNOT GO FORWARD. RIDERS AND MEMBERS MAY STILL MEET FOR LUNCH.
