LAKE EUGENIA – AROUND THE LAKE TOUR

Tuesday June 16, 2026 - Route

This will be an “A” and “B” Ride combined lead by Jack Pady and swept by Chris Meleskie
Meet in parking lot adjacent to and immediately north of Montana’s at 8:30am Departing at 8:45am for Feversham.

We will park at the Utopia Market at the corner of Grey County Road 2, and County Road 31 ------- please note, the Market will be closed, but the Mgr. is allowing us to use their parking lot.

At 9:45 , we will leave Utopia Market and using Concession 10 and River Road we will enter Feversham and then on toward Eugenia on Concession 8. This will take us on a straight run with lots of rolling hills to the causeway which cuts across Eugenia Lake.
(image below) Keep an a eye out for the osprey nest high up a pole towards the west end of the causeway. It has been reported to be currently occupied.

After crossing the causeway, we turn right into the town of Eugenia on Inkerman St. to Pellisier St. where we take a very short break to get onto the dam, built by Ontario Hydro in 1915 to create the lake.
The ride is about 37 km. with rolling hills and no long steep climbs once we are through Eugenia, we will return to our cars using 12th Concession B
Lunch will be at Montana’s (approx. 12:00 -12:15 start)

OF COURSE EVERYONE IS TALKING ABOUT THE George Christie Collingwood Cycling Circuit, (for taking it a bit easier and exploring Cwood); startlingly well-known as THE “C” RIDE, that will meet at 9:45 a.m. at the parking lot behind Timmies and leave at 10:00 a.m.
